TikTok sensation Erica from America takes viewers behind the scenes of the Royal Caribbean’s icon of the seas

London, 05 January 2024 – As the world eagerly anticipates the launch of the largest cruise ship ever built, TikTok sensation Erica from America, a crew member on Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas, offers an enchanting glimpse into the vessel’s grandeur and innovations.

Costing an astronomical $2 billion, this colossal 365-meter-long and 250,800-tonne marvel, claimed to be five times larger than the Titanic, can accommodate 5,610 passengers and hosts a crew of 2,350. Erica, one of the lucky crew members, has been sharing her unique perspective on the ship’s preparations and offerings.

In her TikTok videos, Erica narrates the ship’s transformation, with construction, artwork installations, and extensive testing taking place daily. Expressing her excitement, she reflects on witnessing the ship evolve, describing it as “truly amazing.”

Among the ship’s highlights, Erica is particularly captivated by The Pearl, a mesmerizing blend of art, sculpture, and experience. Departing from Algeciras, Spain, on 23 December and arriving in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on 2 January, the ship underwent regulatory inspections and crew-related activities.
