Reality star confirms second pregnancy after reopening about pain, loss, and reunion

Reality television personality Molly Mae Hague has announced that she is expecting her second child, sharing the news with fans in an intimate post that reflects both joy and the emotional weight of her previous experience with pregnancy and motherhood.

The announcement was made on Instagram, where Hague posted footage filmed at home showing a visible baby bump. The video features her kissing partner Tommy Fury and spending time with their three-year-old daughter Bambi. Alongside the clip, she wrote simply “Soon to be four”.

The news comes after a turbulent period in the couple’s relationship. Hague and Fury, who met during the fifth series of Love Island in 2019, rekindled their relationship last May after a nine-month split. Both previously attributed the separation to Fury’s struggles with alcohol, which followed an injury that disrupted his boxing career.

Hague has been open with her audience about the challenges she faced during her first pregnancy and after giving birth. She has previously described the experience as emotionally overwhelming, revealing that she suffered extreme mood swings during early pregnancy and cried daily while expecting Bambi.

She also spoke candidly about the physical pain she endured during labour. Hague told followers that she experienced hours of intense agony before receiving an epidural, which she said allowed her to finally cope and enjoy the final stages of childbirth.

The difficulties did not end after delivery. In the weeks following Bambi’s birth, Hague admitted she struggled with breastfeeding and felt unprepared for the realities of early motherhood. Despite those challenges, she emphasised that the experience was worth every hardship and spoke about the love she felt for her daughter.

News of the second pregnancy was met with widespread support from friends and fellow public figures. Hague’s sister in law Paris commented on the post, congratulating her and praising how she looked. Television presenter Rochelle Humes described the announcement as gorgeous news, while Scarlett Moffatt also shared her congratulations.

Hague and Fury’s relationship had previously appeared stable following their engagement and the birth of their first child in 2023. However, the couple later confirmed their split, with Hague saying at the time that she never imagined their story would end in that way.

Fury later spoke publicly about his struggles, explaining that turning to alcohol after an injury had played a significant role in the breakdown of their relationship. Less than a year later, Hague confirmed they had reconciled and said Fury had stopped drinking alcohol for four months, adding that things were looking much better between them.

Throughout her public life, Hague has built a reputation for being unusually open about the less glamorous aspects of motherhood. Her willingness to speak honestly about pain, fear and emotional strain has resonated with many of her followers.

The announcement of her second pregnancy marks a new chapter for the couple, one shaped by past hardship as well as renewed optimism. While Hague has not shared further details about how far along she is, the response from fans suggests widespread support as she prepares to expand her family once again.
