50 Cent vehemently denies rumours linking his dramatic weight loss to the use of the slimming drug Ozempic, asserting that his transformation is solely the result of dedicated hard work.

Addressing speculations on his Instagram page, the rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, acknowledged shedding an impressive 40 pounds through rigorous workouts and nightly performances during his recent world tour. In a video message to his 30.8 million followers from the confines of his car, the 48-year-old award-winning chart star debunked the Ozempic rumours, stating, “You want to talk about weight loss, I was in the gym, I was working the f*** out, man. They’re gonna say it’s Ozempic; I was running, I was doing what I had to do, you’ve seen me on tour, I run around. I was 253 pounds, I’ve come down, I’m 210 right now – tell me how you feel about it; you tell me how you feel about it later.”

Contrary to the drug-related speculation, an insider shared with Page Six that 50 Cent’s significant weight loss was the outcome of a “rigorous” eight-month fitness regimen, involving three hours of daily gym sessions. The rapper embarked on this fitness journey in preparation for his Final Lap tour, which kicked off in July the previous year.

50 Cent faced social media taunts about his weight following his performance at the Super Bowl LVI halftime show on February 13, 2022, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Despite the criticism, he showcased his musical prowess alongside fellow rap icons Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar during the iconic halftime slot.
