Tori Spelling sparks online outrage after sharing an unconventional allowance arrangement with her son.

Tori Spelling has once again found herself at the centre of controversy, this time over a parenting decision that has left social media divided. The 51-year-old actress faced intense backlash after sharing an image of her seven-year-old son, Beau, massaging her legs in exchange for money.

On Wednesday, Spelling took to Instagram Stories, posting a snapshot that quickly ignited a firestorm. In the photo, the Beverly Hills, 90210 star lay face down, partially covered with a pink blanket, while her young son massaged her bare legs. The caption read, “Beau said he wanted to do chores in exchange for an allowance… Solid plan.”

However, what Spelling saw as a lighthearted moment did not sit well with many of her followers. The post was met with an immediate wave of criticism, with some branding the arrangement “inappropriate” and “disturbing.”

“I am once again begging rich people to just be normal,” one person wrote. Another bluntly commented, “That’s weird. Just weird and wrong.”

A third critic added, “GIRL. PAY FOR AN ACTUAL MASSAGE.”

The backlash only intensified as more people chimed in, questioning Spelling’s judgment. “WTF are you posting? Just why?” a shocked follower asked, while others called the image “beyond inappropriate.”

Spelling, a mother of five, shares her children—Beau, Liam, Stella, Hattie, and Finn—with her ex-husband Dean McDermott. While she has yet to address the controversy, this isn’t the first time her parenting choices have drawn public scrutiny.

As social media users continue to debate the issue, it remains to be seen whether Spelling will respond or let the storm pass. Either way, the incident has once again thrust her personal life into the spotlight, proving that in the age of social media, no parenting decision goes unnoticed.
