Reality star reveals beta blocker use amid relationship strain as couple rebuild family life
Tommy Fury has shared a new family photo with Molly-Mae Hague and their young daughter Bambi, shortly after the influencer revealed she had been prescribed anti-anxiety medication to help manage panic attacks brought on by stress in their relationship.
The couple, both aged 26, first met on Love Island in 2019 and became one of the show’s most high-profile success stories. But their relationship has faced difficulties in recent years, including a brief split in 2024 amid reports of Tommy’s partying and alleged infidelity.
Now reunited, the pair appear to be working to rebuild their lives together. On Sunday, Tommy posted a photograph of Molly-Mae cradling Bambi during a family brunch at a pink-themed café — a gesture fans interpreted as a sign that the couple are once again on solid ground.
The post comes days after the release of the latest episode of Molly-Mae’s Amazon Prime Video documentary series Behind It All, in which she candidly discussed her mental health struggles and revealed that she has been prescribed beta blockers to cope with severe anxiety.

In one emotional scene, Molly-Mae is seen hanging up on Tommy during a tense phone call before breaking down in tears.
“Even though Tommy and I have been so much better and we’ve been getting to a much better place, there are still things that trigger me so badly,” she said. “When I hear the word alcohol, I tense up — I start shaking. I feel really anxious.”
The reality star and influencer, who has more than eight million Instagram followers, said she suffered a panic attack so severe that she began to be sick.
“I care so much about Tommy and our relationship that when it’s not on form, it’s so consuming for me,” she said. “I thought, ‘Oh God, this is not good — my body’s literally not coping with it.’ I had to have beta blockers because I was so anxious.”
Molly-Mae’s openness about her experience has prompted a wave of support from fans, many praising her for speaking honestly about mental health and the pressures of public life.
Despite her admission, Tommy’s latest post suggests the pair are focused on moving forward as a family. The boxer, who last fought professionally earlier this year, captioned the photo with a simple heart emoji — a post that quickly drew hundreds of supportive comments.
In the same documentary episode, Molly-Mae discussed her and Tommy’s living arrangements, revealing that they have been living separately while working on their relationship.
“Tommy and I, in an ideal world, we wouldn’t be in two separate houses, and hopefully by the end of this year we won’t be,” she said during a conversation with her sister, Zoe Rae Hague.
Zoe challenged her younger sister to confront the reality of their situation, telling her: “You’re there every other day — that’s not normal and not good for Bambi.”
Molly-Mae admitted she still feels hesitant about fully committing to a shared home again.
“The thought of going over there and putting all my eggs in one basket is scary because with me and him, I never know what tomorrow is going to bring. At the minute, having two homes and living apart is almost a bit of a safety blanket for me.”
The couple, who were photographed kissing on New Year’s Eve and later confirmed their reunion in May, have since described themselves as “still figuring it out.”
“Things aren’t perfect,” Molly-Mae said in a recent interview. “But we’re trying to make it work. A lot of people say having children can really pull you apart, but that was never the problem for us.”
Molly-Mae and Tommy welcomed their daughter Bambi in January 2023. Despite the turbulence in their relationship, both have continued to share moments of family life online — from holidays to quiet weekends at home — suggesting they remain committed to co-parenting and to each other.
