A tragic incident unfolded at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center in Texas, as a vehicle crashed into the emergency room, resulting in one death and several injuries. The chaotic scene was captured in photos, showing medical staff and visitors scrambling to safety amidst billowing smoke.

The crash, which occurred late Tuesday afternoon, was classified as a “level four mass casualty” event by local fire and rescue officials. The driver of the vehicle, whose identity has not been disclosed, also died in the crash.
