Complaints flood in as Cybertruck Drivers spot major design flaw ignored by many.
In a surprising turn of events, Tesla’s Cybertruck is facing criticism from disgruntled owners who claim a significant design flaw has gone unnoticed. The highly-anticipated electric vehicle, praised by Tesla CEO Elon Musk, now finds itself in the spotlight for the wrong reasons.
Since its release in November last year, Cybertruck owners have taken to social media to voice their discontent. While Musk dubbed it ‘a better truck than a truck while also being a better sports car than a sports car,’ some users are now challenging this assertion.

Critics point out that the under bed storage appears inadequate, especially when compared to competitors like Rivian, which manages to fit a full-sized spare tire along with other tools and accessories. Some argue that this oversight could have real-life consequences, affecting plans for camping or off-road trips.
“I want the entire space of the bed to be usable for a tent, sleeping, camping supplies, cargo, dirt bike, etc. Every other truck can do this,” one user emphasized, highlighting the potential limitations of the Cybertruck.
While debates on social media continue, a few users stand behind the complaints, suggesting that if the Cybertruck aims to be a serious ‘work’ truck, certain design aspects may need reconsideration. Whether this will prompt changes in Tesla’s design strategy remains to be seen.
