Taylor Swift, nominated in six categories, faces a huge Grammy setback but remains gracious

Taylor Swift’s night at the 2025 Grammy Awards was nothing short of disappointing. Despite being nominated for six prestigious categories, including Album of the Year, the 35-year-old pop icon walked away empty-handed, joining a rare group of artists who’ve been nominated for six or more awards at the Grammys but failed to win any.

The losses didn’t seem to phase Swift, however. According to reports from Page Six, the Grammy winner showed a remarkable level of grace, celebrating other winners and performers from the audience. Even though she didn’t take home a gramophone, Swift’s presence at the ceremony remained a focal point, with the singer continuing to radiate positivity and sportsmanship.

One of the few highlights of her evening came when she presented the Best Country Album award to Beyoncé, further cementing their friendly and professional relationship. Despite the snub in all categories, Taylor’s nod for Best Album marked a milestone, making her the first artist in history to be nominated seven times in this category.

In another lighthearted moment, Swift appeared to squash any lingering rumours of a feud with Billie Eilish. During a break in the Grammy ceremony, Daily Mail captured a video of Swift and actress Margaret Qualley dancing joyfully to Eilish’s performance of “Birds of a Feather.” The pair’s gleeful dancing was interpreted by many as a sign that the alleged tension between Swift and Eilish had come to an end.

While the night didn’t bring home the trophies for Swift, her graceful handling of the setbacks and her focus on supporting fellow artists showcased the maturity and professionalism that have made her a standout figure in the industry.
