The 56-year-old singer was discovered “unresponsive” in a flat in south-east London in July. The Southwark Coroners Court, investigating her death, stated that it has concluded its involvement, ruling her passing as resulting from natural causes.

Initially, an autopsy was conducted after no clear medical cause was evident for her tragic demise in July. The confirmation of her cause of death as “natural” means there will be no public inquest.

Sinead O’Connor had recently relocated to London mere weeks before her passing, which occurred 18 months after the loss of her son Shane to suicide. Metropolitan Police confirmed that her death was not treated as suspicious, stating that officers responded to reports of an unresponsive woman in a residential address in the SE24 area, pronouncing her dead at the scene.
