Over 70 Saudi companies join the Federation of Saudi Chambers to boost Saudi-Polish-Slovak ties and forge European partnerships
A high-level Saudi delegation, featuring representatives from 72 firms, is on a mission to strengthen Saudi-Polish Slovak ties. Organized by the Federation of Saudi Chambers and led by Chairman Hassan bin Mujib Al-Huwaizi, the delegation seeks to explore investment opportunities and build commercial partnerships through strategic meetings with leaders from the government and the private sector.
The visit underscores Saudi Arabia’s commitment to expanding its economic footprint in Europe. This latest initiative follows the establishment of the Saudi-Polish Business Council earlier this year, a collaboration designed to enhance trade and investment links between the two nations for the 2024–2028 term.
Poland, with its flourishing economy and record-breaking €47.9 billion agri-food exports in 2023, has become a key focus for Saudi investment. Bilateral trade between Saudi Arabia and Poland reached an impressive SR33.7 billion last year. The Kingdom primarily exports mineral products and plastics to Poland, while importing tobacco, machinery, and mechanical appliances in return.
The Saudi delegation’s activities in Poland include the Saudi-Polish Business Council meeting, a joint forum, and one-on-one meetings between representatives from various sectors. These discussions aim to identify growth opportunities and formalise agreements to strengthen economic collaboration.

The delegation will host the Saudi-Slovak Business Forum and participate in bilateral meetings to explore investment potential in diverse sectors. An agreement to create a Saudi-Slovak Business Council is also set to be signed, further cementing ties between the two nations.
This visit is part of a broader strategy by the Kingdom to bolster global economic partnerships in line with Saudi Vision 2030. The Federation of Saudi Chambers has actively championed international collaboration, organising similar delegations to ten countries this year. These efforts aim to unlock untapped markets and provide Saudi businesses with access to global opportunities.
Both Poland and Slovakia represent strategic partners for Saudi Arabia’s economic ambitions. Poland’s robust export-driven economy and Slovakia’s burgeoning ties with the Kingdom present avenues for collaboration in industries ranging from agriculture and manufacturing to technology and infrastructure.
Saudi Vision 2030, the Kingdom’s roadmap for economic diversification, places a strong emphasis on strengthening international partnerships. This delegation highlights the synergy between government initiatives and private sector ambitions, showcasing Saudi Arabia’s commitment to a globally integrated economy.
As the meetings unfold, the delegation hopes to secure agreements that not only enhance bilateral trade but also lay the groundwork for long-term collaboration. The visit also provides an opportunity to share insights into Saudi Arabia’s transformative economic initiatives and invite European stakeholders to be part of the Kingdom’s growth story.
