Saudi maritime cooperation with IMO focuses on security and sustainability standards

 On Friday, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Saleh Al-Jasser, hosted International Maritime Organization (IMO) Secretary-General Arsenio Dominguez in Riyadh, highlighting the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to maritime collaboration. Joined by a high-ranking delegation, Dominguez met with Al-Jasser, who also chairs the Transport General Authority, to discuss shared priorities in maritime security and sustainable development, furthering Saudi maritime cooperation with the IMO.

Deputy Minister of Transport and Logistics Services Rumaih Al-Rumaih and other senior officials were also present, demonstrating Saudi Arabia’s proactive approach to bolstering maritime security and environmental sustainability on a global scale.
