Ramlah Co., launched under the Saudi Winter Season campaign, aims to highlight Hail’s cultural and natural treasures, driving tourism development of Saudi Arabia in line with Vision 2030

Saudi Arabia has made a significant move to become a top global tourism destination with the launch of Ramlah Co. for Tourist Trips and Resorts. Inaugurated by Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb during his visit to Hail, this initiative highlights the Kingdom’s commitment to diversifying its economy and encouraging private sector involvement, driving tourism development of Saudi Arabia in alignment with Vision 2030.

The company will play a central role in the Saudi Winter Season campaign, which began in October and runs through early 2025. This initiative highlights seven key destinations across the Kingdom, including Hail, Riyadh, Jeddah, AlUla, and the Red Sea. By showcasing Saudi Arabia’s cultural and natural landmarks, the campaign offers visitors a rich tapestry of experiences, and private entities like Ramlah Co. are set to enhance these offerings.

A Gateway to Hail’s Rich Heritage and Adventures
Ramlah Co. promises an array of immersive activities tailored to diverse traveller preferences. From desert camping and sandboarding to off-road safaris, visitors can experience Hail’s rugged beauty. For those seeking a connection with history, the region’s UNESCO-listed rock art at Jubbah and the ancient Fayd Historic City await exploration.

The company is also introducing unique attractions such as stargazing tours and customisable tourism packages for families, groups, and solo adventurers. Fully licensed by the Ministry of Tourism, Ramlah Co. aims to elevate Hail as a must-visit destination within Saudi Arabia.

Investing in Infrastructure and Human Capital
Al-Khateeb’s visit to Hail wasn’t just ceremonial—it was also a platform for announcing transformative plans for the region. Among these is an ambitious push to enhance the local workforce with 1,000 international training opportunities and 10,000 domestic programmes tailored for Hail’s residents.

The minister also revealed that the Tourism Development Fund is evaluating support for projects exceeding SR1 billion. These initiatives are expected to add over 850 hotel rooms to Hail’s hospitality sector, boosting the region’s capacity to host tourists and creating significant employment opportunities.

Further solidifying this vision, two memoranda of understanding were signed with the Hail Development Authority, aiming to fast-track tourism initiatives and infrastructure development.

A Broader Vision for Saudi Tourism
Ramlah Co.’s launch is emblematic of Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to develop regional tourism hubs. Hail, known for its rich cultural history and natural splendour, stands poised to benefit from these investments. Iconic sites such as Al-Adham Park and other recreational areas will attract a variety of visitors, enhancing the region’s appeal.

Al-Khateeb also made time to review qualitative initiatives spearheaded by the Hail Tourism Development Authority, further emphasising the government’s commitment to positioning Hail as a standout destination in the Kingdom’s burgeoning tourism landscape.

As part of his Winter Season tour, Al-Khateeb is set to visit AlUla next, continuing efforts to spotlight Saudi Arabia’s multifaceted attractions.

Why Hail Matters in Saudi Arabia’s Tourism Landscape
Hail’s unique blend of cultural and natural attractions makes it a vital component of the Kingdom’s tourism strategy. The region’s UNESCO-listed heritage sites, coupled with modern hospitality developments, create a compelling offering for domestic and international tourists alike.

By launching Ramlah Co., the Saudi government sends a clear message: tourism is not just an economic pillar but a bridge to showcase the Kingdom’s diversity and history to the world. As Saudi Arabia continues its journey towards economic diversification, initiatives like Ramlah Co. are poised to lead the way, creating memorable experiences for visitors and sustainable growth for the region.
