Sainsbury’s rewards Nectar cardholders with a £250 discount on energy-efficient home improvements.
Sainsbury’s is offering its Nectar card holders a generous incentive to improve the energy efficiency of their homes. The supermarket has partnered with E.ON through its energy brand, Sainsbury’s Energy, to provide customers with up to £250 off a variety of home upgrades aimed at reducing bills and boosting energy efficiency.
As part of the offer, customers can receive up to £200 off the installation cost of solar panels, plus £50 off an electric vehicle (EV) charger. This deal is specifically for Nectar cardholders, allowing them to take advantage of the savings while investing in long-term energy efficiency.

Solar panels not only help reduce energy costs but also enable homeowners to generate their own power, increasing their control over energy consumption.
In addition to the energy upgrades, Nectar customers can start earning points immediately when they switch their energy supply to Sainsbury’s Energy. For every £1 spent on their energy bills, customers will accumulate Nectar points, which can be redeemed for shopping at Sainsbury’s or with other Nectar partners, including Argos, British Airways, Caffe Nero, and Sky.
Sainsbury’s is eager to support customers in making energy-efficient choices, with the supermarket stating, “We know many of you are already taking steps to reduce your energy bills and carbon footprint, but there are some big leaps you can make that could have a long-term impact. We are here to help you invest in your future with exclusive savings.”
The £250 offer is part of Sainsbury’s ongoing commitment to helping customers save on their energy bills, with the supermarket continuing to offer exclusive deals to those who make the switch to Sainsbury’s Energy. However, the discount is limited to Nectar cardholders, so customers must have a valid card to access the offer.
