Get a hit of caffeine with Carpenter’s new ice cream flavour

Sabrina Carpenter, the artist behind the wildly catchy summer anthem, is teaming up with popular ice cream shop Van Leeuwen to launch a special edition ice cream flavour inspired by her latest hit song. Named after the tune itself, Van Leeuwen’s “Espresso” ice cream, in collaboration with singer and actor Sabrina Carpenter, is set to be a crowd-pleaser.

The song has garnered significant attention for its infectious melody and memorable lyrics, which include references to Nintendo, and Mountain Dew, and the relatable line: “I’m working late ’cause I’m a singer.”

According to a press release, the limited-edition ice cream features a delectable combination of rich, chewy brownies, chocolate chips, and swirls of fudge. It will make its debut on June 28 at all Van Leeuwen shops and their website. Ben Van Leeuwen, the company’s co-founder and CEO, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Doing a flavour collab with a genuine Van Leeuwen super fan is always a lot of fun. We’re so excited to celebrate Sabrina and her newest hit with this extremely delicious ice cream.”

Carpenter, who recently released “Please Please Please,” has been a prominent figure in both the music and acting industries for over a decade. She gained recognition for her role in the Disney Channel series “Girl Meets World.” However, the success of “Espresso,” the lead single from her upcoming sixth studio album, “Short n’ Sweet,” set for release in August, marks a new milestone in her music career. So, if you find yourself “working late” like Carpenter, perhaps a pint of this espresso ice cream will be the perfect pick-me-up.
