Low-cost airline Ryanair responds to high demand by adding thousands of seats between UK and Germany for UEFA European Football Championship

Ryanair has announced a significant expansion in its flight capacity, adding more than 4,000 extra seats between the United Kingdom and Germany in anticipation of the UEFA European Football Championship scheduled for this summer. The airline’s supplementary flights to Cologne, Dortmund, and Frankfurt, departing from both London Stansted and Manchester airports, are now open for reservation on the official Ryanair website, ryanair.com.

Jade Kirwan, Ryanair’s Head of Communications, emphasized the surge in demand, stating, “We’ve witnessed an unprecedented surge in bookings from football enthusiasts travelling to Germany for what promises to be an extraordinary European Championship this summer. In response to this overwhelming demand, we have introduced over 4,000 additional seats from London and Manchester to Cologne, Dortmund, and Frankfurt, ensuring that English fans have the opportunity to attend all the major matches and immerse themselves in the unparalleled atmosphere of match day.”
