Duke and Duchess of Sussex will celebrate Christmas in California with Caroling neighbours Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are embracing the festive season with a unique Christmas tradition alongside their Montecito neighbours, popstar Katy Perry and her actor husband Orlando Bloom.

As the Sussexes settle into the holiday spirit with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Katy Perry revealed her annual plan to spread festive cheer. Speaking about her tradition, Perry shared, “We rent a trolley, decorate it with lights, dress up, and go carolling through the neighbourhood. Sometimes there’s hot cocoa, and I’m dressed as The Grinch. It’s always super fun!”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly grown close to Perry and Bloom, often exchanging messages regarding shared concerns like security. Harry previously disclosed that Bloom sent him a photo taken by his security team of a paparazzo lurking in their area, showcasing the ongoing challenges the families face as high-profile figures.

This Christmas marks another year the Sussexes will remain in the United States rather than joining the Royal Family in the UK. Reports suggest that Harry and Meghan were not extended an invitation to the royal festivities, continuing the distance between them and the Firm.

Meanwhile, Perry’s ties to the Royal Family extend beyond her Montecito neighbourhood. She performed at King Charles III’s Coronation in May 2023 and is set to headline the opening ceremony of next year’s Invictus Games in Vancouver—a project championed by Prince Harry.

As both families gear up for the holidays, their shared traditions highlight the blending of A-list Hollywood charm with royal roots, creating a truly Californian Christmas celebration.
