Prince Harry is reportedly frustrated as Meghan Markle becomes fixated on social media engagement
Prince Harry is reportedly growing increasingly frustrated with Meghan Markle as she becomes more engrossed in social media following her return to Instagram.
According to a source who spoke with Heat World, the Duke of Sussex is concerned about how much time his wife spends online, believing it has become an unhealthy distraction. He allegedly wishes she would step back and delegate the account’s management to a social media expert.
“Harry doesn’t understand why the handling of the account can’t just be passed over to a social media expert,” the insider revealed. “That way, it’s not a daily focus for Meghan. She could check in once a week with a strategy meeting and be done with it.”
But instead, Meghan is reportedly glued to Instagram, constantly checking engagement and scrolling through posts at any free moment. The source claims Harry finds this troubling, as he feels she is only “half present” during their time together.

The couple’s relationship has already faced intense public scrutiny since their departure from royal duties in 2020. However, Harry had grown accustomed to life without social media dominating their daily routine—something he is now struggling to adjust to.
“He’s really missing the days when she didn’t have social media,” the source added. “This sudden change is proving hard to adjust to.”
While Meghan’s return to Instagram was met with enthusiasm from fans, it appears to have created tension behind closed doors. Given Harry’s past statements about the impact of online negativity, it’s no surprise he would prefer Meghan to maintain some distance from the platform.
Neither Harry nor Meghan has publicly addressed these claims, but if the reports are true, it raises questions about how the couple is navigating the challenges of balancing their personal lives with their public presence.
