Prince Harry dismisses claims Meghan Markle creates a toxic environment, insisting she is misunderstood

Prince Harry has once again defended Meghan Markle against claims that she fosters a toxic environment behind closed doors. According to Vanity Fair, multiple insiders have alleged that Meghan makes life “awful” for those around her, with former staffers describing her unique way of delivering sharp criticism—something they call “whisper shouting.”

A source detailed the experience, stating, “You can be yelled at even if somebody doesn’t raise their voice.” Journalist Camilla Tominey further cited a former royal staffer who explained how Meghan’s “whisper shout” allows her to appear composed when Harry is present, while still exerting intense pressure on those around her.

Despite these claims, Harry refuses to believe Meghan’s behaviour is problematic. “His default response is always ‘Meghan is misunderstood,’” the insider shared.

The Duke of Sussex, who left the Royal Family in 2020 alongside Meghan and their son, Prince Archie, has continuously defended his wife against accusations of hostility. After stepping back from royal duties, the couple accused the monarchy of racism and unfair treatment, fuelling an ongoing feud with the Firm. They now reside in California with their two children, Archie and Princess Lilibet, far from the constraints of royal life.

While critics continue to paint Meghan as controlling and difficult, Harry remains unwavering in his stance. He reportedly does not perceive her as domineering and rejects the notion that she has created a difficult atmosphere for those who work with her.

As the controversy swirls, the divide between Harry, Meghan, and the Royal Family grows deeper. With new allegations surfacing, the couple’s public image remains under intense scrutiny, yet Harry refuses to waver. To him, Meghan isn’t the aggressor—she’s simply misunderstood.
