Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Canadian tour continues with adventurous activities

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s visit to Canada for the Invictus Games tour has been nothing short of eventful. After spending Valentine’s Day skiing and exploring cultural centres, the royal couple was spotted trying out bobsledding in Whistler, Canada.

Harry, 39, took to the slopes with enthusiasm, trying his hand at skeleton-bobsledding. He was cheered on by spectators as he navigated the track head-first on his stomach. Meghan, on the other hand, decided to sit this one out, joking with a photographer that there was “no way” she would be joining him.

The couple’s adventurous spirit comes amidst swirling rumours about the nature of their trip. Reports suggest that their visit is seen as a “make or break” moment for their relationship with the Royal Family. However, a representative for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has dismissed these claims, stating that the couple remains committed to their work and beliefs despite the challenges they face.

Harry and Meghan have been making the most of their time in Canada, engaging in a variety of activities and public appearances. Their visit to the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre provided them with a history lesson and a warm welcome from First Nations communities.

The couple’s new website has also sparked controversy, with critics accusing them of “cashing in” on their titles. However, those close to Harry and Meghan defend their right to use their titles and surname, Sussex, for their children, Archie and Lilibet.

As Harry and Meghan continue their tour, their actions and statements suggest a couple determined to stay true to themselves and their values, regardless of the scrutiny they face.
