The Prime Minister announces additional aid, urging citizens to contribute to the government’s relief fund

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to supporting the people of Palestine, Gaza, and Lebanon during a time of immense suffering. In a meeting convened to assess the country’s relief efforts, he called on citizens, particularly those with means, to donate generously to the government’s relief fund.

Highlighting the urgency of the situation, the Prime Minister announced that Pakistan would be sending additional humanitarian aid to the affected regions, including 3,000 tents and 12,000 blankets to assist those in need. He stressed the importance of solidarity and support for those enduring hardships as a result of the ongoing conflict.

During the meeting, Sharif urged the public to respond to the call for donations, reinforcing that collective action could make a significant difference in alleviating the suffering faced by the Palestinian and Lebanese people. He acknowledged the generosity of the Pakistani people in previous relief efforts and expressed confidence that they would again rise to the occasion.
