The former Miss Universe feared she’d never have kids—now she’s celebrating her first pregnancy.

Olivia Culpo’s journey to motherhood hasn’t been easy. The 32-year-old model and former Miss Universe, who just announced her first pregnancy with husband Christian McCaffrey, previously shared deep fears about her fertility struggles.

Diagnosed with endometriosis—a painful uterine disease that can cause infertility—Culpo spent years worrying about her ability to conceive. Before undergoing a life-changing laparoscopy in 2020, she had been misdiagnosed by dozens of doctors, leaving her desperate for answers.

In a 2022 episode of The Culpo Sisters on TLC, she spoke candidly about her fears. “I want to have kids, but I want to make sure that I can. It could be really hard for me to have babies.” She explained how endometriosis can damage fertility by affecting egg quality and scarring fallopian tubes.

The uncertainty weighed heavily on her. “There is so much I don’t know about my future with this condition, and I worry all the time about my timeline. I feel like I have to have kids ASAP,” she admitted at the time.

But now, after years of anxiety and medical battles, Culpo is embracing a new chapter—motherhood. On March 11, she took to Instagram to share the joyful news, posting a photo cradling her baby bump.

“Next chapter, motherhood,” she captioned the post, adding a white heart emoji.

Culpo’s announcement marks a triumphant moment in her journey, proving that even in the face of uncertainty, hope remains.
