Ahead of a historic accolade, Nicole Kidman shares a nostalgic look back at her first movie role, marking decades of cinematic excellence.

Nicole Kidman, an icon of the silver screen, is set to receive the prestigious American Film Institute’s Life Achievement Award, becoming the first Australian ever honoured with this accolade. In celebration of her upcoming achievement, Kidman took a moment to reflect on her remarkable journey in Hollywood by sharing a clip from her first movie role in 1983’s “Bush Christmas.”

The actress, who first captured the hearts of audiences as a 14-year-old in the Australian holiday film, expressed her amazement and gratitude over the experiences she has had throughout her career. On her Instagram, Kidman posted the nostalgic clip, accompanied by a heartfelt caption: “This 14-year-old girl could have never predicted all the talented people she would get to work with and the many different characters she would get to play.”
