Meghan Markle’s ambitious business plans hit a major roadblock, raising doubts over her latest reinvention.

Meghan Markle’s latest attempt to establish herself as a lifestyle entrepreneur is already facing scrutiny, with critics questioning whether her American Riviera Orchard brand can survive its first major hurdle.

The Duchess of Sussex reportedly intended to market high-end produce as part of her upcoming cooking show With Love, Meghan, but the plan crumbled due to a basic legal oversight—failing to trademark a geographic location.

Columnist Judith Woods of The Daily Telegraph was quick to call out the blunder, mocking Markle’s lack of preparation. “I’m no expert, but would it not have been really quite easy to practice due diligence and check right at the beginning?” she wrote.

The setback hasn’t stopped Markle from pushing forward, with the brand’s new As Ever logo now in focus. However, even this move has sparked controversy, as the design bears an uncanny resemblance to the heraldic coat of arms adopted by the Majorcan town of Porreres in 1370.

Woods didn’t hold back, delivering a final jab at Markle’s track record of reinvention. “Let us wait and see how long this new reinvention lasts,” she wrote. “We can all live a life of service, remember. And who doesn’t need wallpaper and pet shampoo?”

With doubts swirling and legal troubles mounting, the question remains—will Meghan Markle’s latest business venture succeed, or is it just another fleeting chapter in her ever-changing brand?
