Rory McIlroy faced familiar challenges on the greens during the second round of the Scottish Open, as his putter struggled once again. Despite the setbacks, McIlroy remains optimistic about his position. “I feel like I should be around Ludvig’s score, if not a little bit better. But I’m still in a good position. I left two or three out there yesterday, and it was similar today. Hopefully, I can put it all together over the weekend.”
With competitors posting impressive scores, including a 62 and several 63s, McIlroy acknowledges the need for a strong finish to stay competitive. “It’s another weekend where I’m right in the mix of a golf tournament, and that’s a nice position to be in after the last three weeks I’ve had.”
