Chart-topper Lizzo left fans in awe as she flaunted her toned physique in workout gear that gives off serious ‘gym vibes’, even if she didn’t actually hit the gym. The singer praised the ‘technology’ behind her clothes for their ‘snatching and lifting’ capabilities.

Taking to Instagram this week, Lizzo showcased her figure while embracing the ‘new year, new me’ mantra. 2024 kicked off with a bang for the star as she unveiled her latest clothing line for Yitty, described as a reinvention of shapewear.

In her video, Lizzo promoted the brand’s new ‘ultra-lift’ leggings and bras in a vibrant array of colours, confessing that getting into the outfits was a challenge but totally worth it, giving her backside a remarkable lift.

“It looks like we hit the gym, but nope, we didn’t,” she teased her followers.

Lizzo encouraged her fans, affirming they’re already the ‘best version of themselves’. She urged, “We’re making ourselves a priority this year, folks. You don’t need to wait to feel incredible.”

“New year, new me, rocking my Yitty,” she proclaimed.

While Lizzo hinted that her transformation was solely due to the new outfit, admirers flooded her video with compliments on her stunning appearance.

“You’re an absolute vision,” one fan gushed, while another exclaimed, “You’re killing it!”

Although some viewers speculated on Lizzo’s potential weight loss before the video, others emphasised that her weight shouldn’t take centre stage in the discussion.

An advocate for body positivity, Lizzo has consistently championed self-love. In 2019, she penned a piece for NBC News, expressing, “Loving myself was the result of answering two things: Do you want to live? ‘Cause this is who you’re gonna be for the rest of your life. Or are you gonna just have a life of emptiness, self-hatred and self-loathing? And I chose to live, so I had to accept myself.”
