The Emily in Paris star shares sweet moments from baby Tove’s first trip to the beach.
Lily Collins is embracing motherhood and sharing precious moments along the way. The Emily in Paris actress, 35, recently took her newborn daughter, Tove, on her first beach outing with husband Charlie McDowell.
Posting on Instagram on Sunday, Collins shared a slideshow of the family walking along a rocky shoreline. In the photos, McDowell, 41, carried baby Tove close to his chest in a baby carrier. “Tove’s first beach day!” she captioned the post, giving fans a glimpse into their new life as parents.
Collins and McDowell welcomed their daughter via surrogacy in January and announced the news on January 31 with a heartfelt Instagram post. Sharing a photo of baby Tove in a knit bonnet, they wrote, “Welcome to the center of our world, Tove Jane McDowell. Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way. We love you to the moon and back again.”
The couple first sparked romance rumours in 2019, going public in August of that year. They got engaged in September 2020 and tied the knot a year later in an intimate ceremony.
Collins is the daughter of legendary musician Phil Collins and actress Jill Tavelman, while McDowell comes from Hollywood royalty as the son of actress Mary Steenburgen and actor Malcolm McDowell.
With parenthood now their newest chapter, fans are eager to see more glimpses of baby Tove’s journey.
