Leo painter’s family mourns loss as community pays tribute to beloved son

Leo painter described as a “wonderful” son by his grieving mother Gemma, was returning home from school when the fatal crash occurred on the A44 between Evesham and Worcester. The collision, involving a Ford Mondeo taxi and a grey BMW 3 series, also claimed the lives of two women, including the taxi driver.

Gemma, overwhelmed with grief, shared her poignant memories of Leo, expressing her excitement at the prospect of him returning home from foster care. Recalling their last Christmas together, Gemma tearfully recounted Leo’s joy upon receiving PAW Patrol-themed pyjamas, a testament to his love for the popular children’s show.
