Lenovo announces a strategic acquisition of Infinidat, aiming to bolster its position in high-end enterprise storage with innovative, cyber-resilient solutions
In a move to enhance its enterprise storage portfolio, Lenovo has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Infinidat Ltd., a global leader in high-end storage solutions. The acquisition is a key part of Lenovo’s strategy to deliver differentiated technology to the market and expand its presence in the enterprise storage sector.
Infinidat’s high-performance, mission-critical storage products will complement Lenovo’s existing offerings, particularly in the high-end enterprise market. The acquisition strengthens Lenovo’s commitment to providing scalable, cyber-resilient solutions tailored to the evolving needs of modern data centers.
The collaboration will combine Infinidat’s advanced research and development capabilities with Lenovo’s infrastructure business, creating opportunities for further innovation and the expansion of their storage solutions. “Infinidat’s expertise in high-performance, high-end data storage solutions broadens the scope of our products, and together, we will drive new opportunities for growth,” said Greg Huff, Chief Technology Officer, Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group.
