LeAnn Rimes fled the stage in panic after her front teeth fell out during a live performance

Pop star LeAnn Rimes has stunned fans by revealing a dramatic on-stage mishap—her front teeth fell out mid-performance, sending her into a full-blown panic in front of a live audience.

The 42-year-old Can’t Fight the Moonlight singer took to Instagram for a bit of “story time” after the incident left her running off stage during a concert at the Skagit Valley Casino & Resort in Bow, Washington.

In a video message to fans, Rimes shared what she called the “most epic example of how the show must go on”. Her composure, however, was briefly shattered during the middle of her hit track One Way Ticket, when disaster struck.

“I feel something pop in my mouth,” she recalled. “If you’ve been around, you know I’ve had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front. It fell out in the middle of my song last night.”

The singer, who previously dislocated her jaw during a 2014 concert, admitted the moment sent her into a quiet frenzy. “I panicked,” she said. “I told the audience to ‘hold on’, and I ran to the side of the stage to pop it back in.”

Without missing a beat—well, almost—she carried on performing.

“I just went on singing,” she said, laughing at herself. “I literally told the crowd exactly what was happening. I figured if I didn’t, I’d have had to walk off stage completely.”

From that point on, Rimes said she was pushing her teeth back into place between verses. “For the rest of the show, I was like this,” she said, mimicking herself pressing the bridge into her mouth.

Though she managed to power through, she admitted: “I don’t have many firsts left in my career, but that was a first—and hopefully a last.”

Ever the performer, Rimes even cracked a joke for future shows: “I hope my teeth stay in tonight. We shall see. Front row—get ready for something to fly out. If you catch them, please return them!”

The country-pop icon also hoped her awkward confession would help other performers realise that mistakes—even dental disasters—don’t have to end a show. “I hope this inspires someone,” she said, “to know that the show can go on even in the midst of sheer, utter embarrassment.”

Her fans, far from being horrified, responded with love and laughter.

“That’s FLOW. You are amazing. Real. Authentic. Super,” wrote one admirer.

Another chimed in with a laughing emoji: “Lmaooo. I wish I was there for this moment.”

Even celebrities weighed in, including Grey’s Anatomy actress Jessica Capshaw, who commented, “Love you even more for this. The show must… go on!!”

For now, Rimes can laugh it off—but she’s made it clear she wouldn’t mind keeping her teeth exactly where they belong during future shows.
