Royal expert claims King Charles’s upcoming environmental documentary will have a larger audience than the Sussexes’ Netflix series
King Charles is poised to outshine Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with the release of his highly anticipated documentary on environmental issues, set to stream on Amazon Prime. According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, the monarch’s documentary will attract a far wider audience than the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s recent Netflix series, With Love, Meghan.
Speaking to The Sun, Fitzwilliams explained that King Charles’s documentary is not about seeking high ratings, but rather about raising awareness on the pressing issue of environmental imbalance. “The film will have kudos and get a wider audience because of King Charles’s involvement,” he said. “He has been advocating for environmental causes since 1970.”
The documentary, which is expected to delve into the philosophical concept of harmony between mankind and nature, aims to spread a vital message rather than simply chasing viewership numbers. Fitzwilliams further noted, “The King’s film will focus on spreading the word about these issues, while philosophy-based content typically appeals to a smaller audience.”
While Meghan Markle’s With Love, Meghan focuses on personal storytelling, Fitzwilliams emphasised that King Charles’s documentary is markedly different. “There is no similarity whatsoever,” he said, adding that the King is likely to make minimal personal appearances in the film, which will be produced by Amazon Prime.
As King Charles continues to champion environmental causes, this documentary is expected to elevate his global influence and leave Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent projects in the shadows.
