Kim Kardashian shares rare childhood photos to celebrate her longtime friend’s 45th birthday

Kim Kardashian is giving fans a rare glimpse into her past, sharing never-before-seen throwback photos in honour of her childhood friend, Simone Harouche, who just turned 45.

The Kardashians star, now 44, took to Instagram Stories on Sunday to post nostalgic snaps of the duo from their early years. In one black-and-white high school photo, Kim wrote, “Happy belated birthday @simoneharouche! I love you so much!” She then added a playful nod to her fashion choices back then, saying, “I love this pic of us at Marymount [High School in Bel Air] on a free dress day wearing our outfits from probably Judy’s. [I] also feel like this is my hair now, LOL!”

She followed up with another blast from the past, this time from seventh grade, featuring Simone and another friend, Linds. But the nostalgia didn’t stop there—Kim also shared a photo from their college years when Simone was studying at Parsons School of Design’s The New School in New York City between 1999 and 2001.

Kim and Simone’s friendship dates back to when they were just 11 years old. Over the years, Simone has played a major role in Kim’s fashion evolution, styling the reality star and her famous sisters, as well as working as a creative consultant for Kanye West’s Yeezy brand between 2016 and 2018.

While Simone was busy pursuing a career in design, Kim’s academic journey was a different story. She briefly attended Pierce College, a community college in Woodland Hills, CA, but never completed her degree. Instead, she later pursued law, famously passing the ‘baby bar’ exam in 2021 after three failed attempts.

Kim’s trip down memory lane has delighted fans, offering a rare and candid look into her pre-fame life—an era long before she became a billionaire mogul and pop culture icon.
