Kim Kardashian jokingly accuses Kourtney of using her son Rocky as an excuse to skip family trips.

Kim Kardashian isn’t holding back when it comes to teasing her big sister, Kourtney Kardashian. During the latest episode of The Kardashians, the 44-year-old reality mogul playfully called out Kourtney for skipping family outings—suggesting she’ll be using the “baby excuse” for the next decade.

The episode followed Kim, Khloe Kardashian, and their mother, Kris Jenner, on a four-hour road trip to Joshua Tree National Park. Originally planned by Kendall Jenner, the trip took an unexpected turn when Kendall bailed at the last minute, much to Khloe’s frustration.

As the group tried to figure out the best way to salvage their adventure, they called Kourtney, who casually admitted that she might have contributed to the scheduling mishap. However, instead of dwelling on the issue, she suggested they pass the time playing gin rummy.

Khloe took the opportunity to encourage Kourtney to be more involved in family trips, but Kourtney had an immediate response—she was busy breastfeeding her 17-month-old son, Rocky Thirteen.

Kim, never one to let a moment slide, later took a playful jab at her sister in a confessional, joking, “She’s gonna use this baby excuse ‘til the kid’s 10.”

While the comment was all in good fun, it highlighted the growing divide in how the Kardashian sisters approach family time. Kourtney, who welcomed Rocky in 2023 with her husband, Travis Barker, has been vocal about embracing a slower, more intentional lifestyle.

In a previous episode, she reflected on her new pace of life, saying, “With my babies and my husband, I have a desire to slow down. It’s nice to actually linger in a moment, not rushing so that you can experience everything.”

The lighthearted sibling banter is nothing new for the Kardashians, who have built an empire on their candid, unfiltered family dynamics. However, with Kourtney’s evolving priorities and Kim’s relentless work ethic, their contrasting lifestyles continue to create amusing moments—and, at times, tension—on the show.
