Khloe Kardashian and Scott Disick open up about single parenthood and putting kids over dating.

Khloe Kardashian and Scott Disick are pressing pause on their dating lives to focus entirely on their roles as single parents. The reality stars, both seasoned in navigating the spotlight, revealed their shared parenting priorities during the debut episode of Khloé’s new podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land.

Sitting down for a candid conversation, Kardashian, 40, and Disick, 41, unpacked the complexities of juggling single parenthood with the pursuit of love. Both stars agree their children take precedence over romantic relationships.

“How are you with dating around the kids?” Kardashian asked Disick, referring to his three children, Mason, 15, Penelope, 12, and Reign, 10, whom he shares with ex Kourtney Kardashian Barker.

Disick admitted his kids have broached the topic. “They ask me… they’d like me to be with somebody, I think. They tell me they want me to find someone,” he shared. But for Disick, any potential relationship must come with long-term commitment. “Until I find the right person, I don’t want to bring someone else into their lives. I don’t want them getting attached to someone unless it’s serious.”

For now, Disick is content focusing on his children. “For the next 5, 6, 7 years, my attention is on them. I have the rest of my life to be single,” he noted. “If I were with someone now, my focus would be divided. Right now, I’m happy putting them on a pedestal.”

Kardashian, mother to six-year-old True and two-year-old Tatum, echoed Disick’s sentiments. She shares her children with ex-partner Tristan Thompson. “My kids are my top priority,” she said. “I don’t care about dating. I don’t know what the future holds, but for now, I’m focused on being a mum.”

Kardashian praised Disick’s approach to single parenting. “If I weren’t in this situation, I’d probably think, ‘You’re so full of it.’ But now, I totally get it. It’s the smartest thing.”

The conversation touched on the challenges of modern dating. “Dating is so different now,” Kardashian said. Disick agreed, stating he’s in no rush to search for a partner. “I don’t want to search and be disappointed,” he added.

Looking to the future, Disick suggested he might start dating again when his youngest child, Reign, is 18. “That’s about eight years from now,” he calculated.

Kardashian responded optimistically. “I feel like in eight years, you and I will both find someone,” she said, though both stars agreed they’re currently content focusing on their families.

As two of the most recognisable single parents in Hollywood, Kardashian and Disick are showing that for them, parenting takes priority over dating. While romance may wait, their commitment to their children is unwavering.
