Swedish investment company EQT to acquire Keywords Studios in a £2.2 billion deal, expected completion in Q4 2024

Keywords Studios, a video game industry company known for its support of major firms like Activision Blizzard, EA, Epic, and Square Enix, has entered into an acquisition agreement with Swedish investment company EQT. The deal, valued at approximately £2.2 billion, is pending approval from Keywords’ shareholders and is expected to be finalised in the fourth quarter of 2024.
