Pop icon Katy Perry will juggle motherhood and music as daughter Daisy joins her world tour
Katy Perry is gearing up for an ambitious 84-date world tour, and she’s not going alone. The global pop sensation has revealed that her four-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, will join her for part of the journey — a sweet mother-daughter bonding chapter before the young girl starts school.
“This is my last window before she begins kindergarten,” said Perry, 40. “She’ll be with me for some of the shows — and she absolutely loves it. She even wants to go on stage, and I’m like, ‘No, baby.’”
The tour, titled The Lifetimes Tour, will be Perry’s first since embracing motherhood. It kicks off later this month in Mexico, marking her return to the road after a long hiatus. But this time, her priorities have shifted. Speaking to E! News, the Teenage Dream hitmaker shared how her experience as a mother has reshaped the way she’s approaching life on tour.
“Now I understand mums in the audience,” Perry said. “One thing I’ll be doing differently is starting shows earlier. I used to go on at 9:15 p.m. — I feel for every mum who stayed up that late. So now, we’re adjusting.”
This change reflects a more family-friendly rhythm for a star long known for her dazzling late-night performances and theatrical spectacle. Fans attending her shows can expect the same magic — just a little earlier in the evening.
But that’s not the only high-flying mission Perry is on.
Before hitting the stage, she’ll take to the skies — literally — as part of an all-female spaceflight crew set to launch tomorrow aboard Blue Origin’s NS-31 suborbital flight, helmed by Jeff Bezos’ fiancée, Lauren Sanchez.

The flight, operated by Blue Origin, will be a suborbital trip designed to symbolise female empowerment in science, entertainment, and beyond.
The mission further cements Perry’s place in pop culture not just as an artist, but as a symbol of ambition, reinvention, and resilience. With one foot in orbit and another on stage, she continues to break new ground — now with daughter Daisy watching closely.
For Perry, motherhood isn’t a reason to slow down; it’s an opportunity to reimagine the pace. She’s embracing the balance — a hectic yet heartfelt dance between studio lights and bedtime stories, space suits and snack time.
While it’s unclear how many dates Daisy will attend, Perry hinted that the little one is thriving on tour life so far. “She loves it — the lights, the music — but I have to keep reminding her, ‘You’re four, not the headliner,’” she joked.
As the world tour approaches, fans around the globe are bracing for a fresh era of Perry — one that honours her iconic hits but reflects her growth as a woman and a mother. With family at the centre and the stars within reach, Katy Perry’s next act promises to be her most extraordinary yet.
