Katie Price is set to dazzle audiences once again as she steps into the world of pantomime, taking on the role of an enchanting fairy in Pinocchio. The reality TV star will perform at Clacton’s Princess Theatre in Essex this April, marking another return to the stage.

Known for her appearances in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and Celebrity Big Brother, Price has ventured into theatre before. Over Christmas, she played a wicked stepsister alongside Kerry Katona in a Cinderella production. Now, she’s set to bring magic to the beloved tale of Pinocchio.

The Easter pantomime will feature a mix of familiar faces and fresh talent. Joining Price is comedian and EastEnders star Bobby Davro, who will take on the role of the mischievous Stromboli. Ryan Greaves will star as Pinocchio, embarking on a fantastical adventure to Fantasy Island with the fairy’s guidance.

Other cast members include Kate Salmon as Princess TikTok and Phyl Harries as Mama Gepetto. With its blend of comedy, music, and family-friendly fun, the production promises to be a highlight of the Easter holiday.

Gary Scott, Tendring District Council’s cabinet member for arts, culture, and heritage, expressed excitement for the show. “This hilarious and heart-warming production promises to be a delightful experience for audiences of all ages,” he said.

A promotional poster for the show features Katie Price front and centre, gazing at the camera with a touch of fairy-tale glamour. The production, brought to life by Anton Benson Productions, promises a vibrant reimagining of the classic story.

Scott added, “With no strings attached, it is the perfect way to celebrate Easter with family and friends.”

Two performances of Pinocchio will take place on 6 April, giving audiences the chance to experience the magic live on stage.
