The Princess of Wales prioritises her children as she returns to royal duties following chemotherapy.
Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, has revealed her heartfelt New Year resolution, placing her family at the forefront after a challenging period of personal health struggles. The royal, who recently completed a course of preventative chemotherapy, has emerged cancer-free and is determined to embrace the new year with optimism and focus on her loved ones.
Royal expert Jennie Bond shared insight into Kate’s resolution, stating that the Princess is committed to supporting her three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—as they return to school after their winter break. Bond emphasised Kate’s dedication to balancing her royal responsibilities with family life, marking a hopeful and optimistic start to 2025.

According to Bond, Kate has been steadily regaining strength after her treatment, and as the weeks pass, she is expected to continue feeling better. With a number of significant events ahead, including her mother’s milestone birthday and various projects related to early years education, the Princess is set to remain busy.
“Life with three children is never going to be quiet, and I think Catherine will be throwing herself into supporting them as they return to school, and rejoicing that a truly rotten year has now ended,” Bond added. The royal expert believes that Kate will continue to take her return to full-time royal duties slowly, but that she will increasingly engage in official engagements over the coming months.
Despite the challenges of the previous year, Kate Middleton’s resolve to move forward with a renewed sense of purpose and optimism is evident as she navigates her personal recovery while staying devoted to her family and the royal role she cherishes.
