Karachi came alive with vibrant celebrations on the eve of Independence Day as thousands of residents poured into the streets to join in the festivities. The metropolis sparkled with fireworks and music, marking the onset of August 14 with enthusiasm and unity.

The Sindh Governor House was a focal point of the celebrations, with Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori hosting a spectacular midnight fireworks display that illuminated the night sky between August 13 and 14. Governor Tessori’s office highlighted that renowned singer Atif Aslam graced the event with a memorable performance, adding a musical touch to the festivities.

In addition to the Governor House celebrations, various political and community groups organized their own events across the city. The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) held a lively show near Five Star Chowrangi in North Nazimabad.
