Acclaimed actor Jodie foster opens up about challenges working with gen Z in recent interview
In a candid revelation, Hollywood icon Jodie Foster has shared her candid thoughts on working with the younger generation, stating that Gen Z can be ‘really annoying,’ particularly in the workplace. The 61-year-old actress, known for her illustrious career, opened up about her perspective on the attitudes and work habits of the latest generation.
Foster, who earned an Oscar nomination at the age of 14 for her role in Martin Scorsese’s 1976 classic film Taxi Driver, expressed her difficulties in understanding Gen Z’s approach to work in an interview with The Guardian. Addressing their seemingly casual attitude, she remarked, “They’re like: ‘Nah, I’m not feeling it today, I’m gonna come in at 10.30 am.'”
The Silence of the Lambs star also highlighted grammatical concerns in communication with Gen Z, stating, “Or in emails, I’ll tell them: this is all grammatically incorrect, did you not check your spelling? And they’re like: ‘Why would I do that, isn’t that kind of limiting?’”
