Jennifer Lopez, 55, has revealed her holiday plans for this year, expressing a desire to spend Christmas surrounded by her close family following her split from Ben Affleck. The singer and actress, who shares 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony, plans to keep the festivities low-key, focusing on quality time with her children, her New York-based sister Lynda, and her mother Guadalupe.
In an interview with *People*, Lopez shared, “I’m most looking forward to spending time with my kids and my family coming out from the East Coast. The holidays are such a special time for us and they’ve always been since I was a little girl.” She emphasized the importance of creating new memories, saying she looks forward to relaxing and enjoying moments with her sisters.
Although still residing in the $68M Bel Air mansion she once shared with Affleck, Lopez seems determined to keep her holiday celebrations intimate and centred around family. “I really look forward to those moments when I can be with my sisters and just relax and have fun,” she added.
On the work front, Lopez is thriving. Her upcoming film *Unstoppable*, set to hit theatres in December, is highly anticipated, and she also has several other projects in the pipeline, including the musical *Kiss of the Spider Woman*.
Lopez opened up about her journey of self-discovery following her divorce from Affleck, emphasizing the importance of work-life balance. “I think a lot of it is about a deeper connection to myself and to God, making sure we’re checking with ourselves so we can be great for everybody that we love around us,” she explained. The *Love Don’t Cost A Thing* hitmaker added that she is also focused on pushing her creative boundaries and expanding her brand, particularly with *JLo Beauty*.
