Aquaman star ditches modesty sock for unusual pink fluffy replacement in epic on-set prank

In a revelation that adds a humorous twist to the intense scenes of Game of Thrones, Jason Momoa, who played Khal Drogo, opted for an unconventional approach during a particularly graphic sex scene with co-star Emilia Clarke, known as Daenerys Targaryen.

Traditionally, actors use modesty socks to maintain some semblance of privacy during intimate scenes. However, Momoa decided to inject a dose of humor into the set by substituting the customary sock with a vibrant, fluffy pink alternative.

Clarke, recalling the amusing incident on The Graham Norton Show, shared, “Not only was it a sex scene, it was a violent sex scene, so he decided for one of the scenes… not to use a modesty sock, but to use a beautiful pink, fluffy sock.”

Momoa, shedding light on his playful decision, explained during a Game of Thrones Q&A, “I was in Belfast, and it’s December, and we’re going to shoot, and it’s freezing… I’m the last one at Titanic studios.”

Undeterred by the chilly weather, Momoa embraced the opportunity to inject some light-heartedness into the scene. “I went down and bought a little bag of these socks—some fluffy pink polka dot socks with little animals—and I put it in… appropriate places.”

In an attempt to make Clarke laugh during her close-up, Momoa playfully pranced around, leaving the crew and Clarke in fits of laughter. Clarke, unable to contain herself, exclaimed, “Jason has a fluffy pink thing on his… penis.”
