In a surprising turn of events, Kate Middleton‘s immediate family has cleared their schedules to lend support to the Duchess of Cambridge, who recently underwent a successful planned procedure and is expected to remain at the private London Clinic for 10-14 days.

The 42-year-old Duchess is reported to be “doing well” after the abdominal operation but is anticipated to take up to three months away from her royal duties. During her hospital stay, her parents Carole and Michael Middleton, as well as her siblings Pippa Matthews and James Middleton, have shown eagerness to stand by her side.

Prince William, the doting husband, has been seen visiting Kate in the hospital, emphasising the importance of maintaining normalcy for their children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. He was spotted driving an Audi e-Tron GT Carbon Vorsprung and a Land Rover Discovery, intending to continue the school run and provide stability for the children during their mother’s absence.

Kensington Palace released a short statement, emphasising Kate’s desire for normality for her children and her wish to keep personal medical information private. The Prince of Wales is expected to take time off and step back from official duties to support his wife and children during this period.

In a separate development, the King is also preparing for a corrective procedure after a diagnosis of a benign enlarged prostate. Queen Camilla assured the public that the King is “fine” and “looking forward to getting back to work.” The Queen cancelled her flight back to England to support Charles at his Scottish home as he awaits surgery.

Kate’s announcement of her health came just before Buckingham Palace confirmed the King’s upcoming hospital admission, creating an unprecedented double royal health scare. While the Duchess is not expected to return to public events until after Easter, her husband Prince William will be by her side, putting on hold any planned royal tours for the coming months.
