Allegation circulates on social media, but evidence indicates it’s fake
A screenshot shared on X alleges that Prince William and Kate Middleton’s official Kensington Palace X account announced that Harry and Meghan used a surrogate for their 2019 pregnancy with Archie. However, this claim is false.
The purported tweet, dated May 6, 2019, claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex used a surrogate and apologized for any misunderstanding. It questioned why the mainstream media had not addressed this issue.

Furthermore, the alleged tweet had several inconsistencies, such as irregular line spacing, grammatical errors, and being posted from Frogmore Cottage. Frogmore Cottage, where Harry and Meghan lived, was not occupied by William and Kate in 2019; they resided in an apartment at Kensington Palace.

Although there have been conspiracy theories surrounding Meghan’s pregnancy, there is no credible evidence to support the claim that Harry and Meghan used a surrogate.
