New Hampshire state police launch urgent search for missing children believed to be with armed suspect

In a harrowing turn of events, New Hampshire State Police have issued an Amber Alert following the reported abduction of two young children from Berlin, New Hampshire. Authorities are urgently seeking 36-year-old Dustin Duren, who is believed to be armed and dangerous, in connection with the disappearance of the children.

The alert dispatched to the phones of New Hampshire residents shortly after 4 a.m. Friday, provided crucial details about the suspect and the vehicle he is allegedly driving. According to the alert, Dustin Duren is driving a white 2017 Subaru Impreza bearing New Hampshire plate number V69023. Descriptions identify Duren as a 5’10” individual weighing 190 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. State police swiftly issued a press release to disseminate information about the ongoing investigation.

Accompanying the alert was a photo depicting the type of vehicle believed to be in Duren’s possession, providing the public with a visual reference to aid in the search efforts.

The missing children, identified as 13-month-old Vaelyn Duren and 4-year-old Elowyn Duren, are both described as girls with blond hair and blue eyes. Police have not disclosed any information regarding the relationship between Dustin Duren and the two abducted girls.

The urgency of the situation was underscored by the disclosure of the last known location of Duren and the children, which was reported to be Concord, New Hampshire, around 8 p.m. Thursday. With the whereabouts of the suspect and the children uncertain, law enforcement agencies are urging the public to exercise caution and remain vigilant.

State police have issued a stern warning to anyone who may come into contact with Dustin Duren, the missing children, and the associated vehicle. Individuals are advised not to approach them but instead to immediately contact 911 to report any sightings or information pertinent to the case.
