Ziggurat pyramid: A futuristic vision of sustainable living in the heart of Dubai

Dubai is no stranger to ambitious construction projects, but its latest endeavor is truly monumental. The city is set to embark on the construction of a mega-pyramid, named Ziggurat, that will surpass the Great Pyramid of Giza in scale and ambition.

Inspired by the ancient pyramids of Egypt and Mayans, Ziggurat is poised to become an architectural marvel, standing at a staggering 1,200 meters tall and spanning an impressive 2.3 square kilometers. What’s more, this mammoth structure is designed to be home to a thriving community of up to one million people.

But Ziggurat isn’t just about size. The pyramid is slated to be a model of sustainability, boasting a carbon-neutral footprint powered by solar panels, wind, and other natural sources. It will also feature a state-of-the-art public transport system that eliminates the need for cars, with routes running both horizontally and vertically within the building’s 300 floors.

Designed by Timelinks, a Dubai-based group of urban planners and designers, Ziggurat aims to redefine urban living by creating self-sufficient communities that minimize their environmental impact. Ridas Matonis, managing director of Timelinks, envisions Ziggurat as a model for future cities, where energy efficiency and sustainability are paramount.

With its futuristic design and bold vision, Ziggurat has captured the imagination of people around the world. As news of the project spreads on social media, many are eagerly anticipating the realization of this ambitious project, which promises to be a new landmark in Dubai’s skyline and a testament to human ingenuity.
