Shocking revelation as ‘feared’ criminal mastermind confesses to a decade of ruthless killings

In a jaw-dropping revelation, a seemingly ordinary college student has confessed to living a dual existence as a feared hitman responsible for a string of ruthless killings. Abuzar Sultani, in his mid-twenties and enrolled at a prestigious Australian university, has pleaded guilty to his fifth murder, marking him as one of the country’s most prolific killers.

Known as ‘boss’ or ‘Abs’ within his criminal gang, Sultani led a clandestine life while attending university and simultaneously running his own construction business. Despite appearances, he has been described as ‘one of the most feared figures in the city’s underworld.’

Sultani, now 35, admitted in court to the murder of Mark Easter over eight years ago, a member of an opposing bike gang. Easter’s body was discovered in a Sydney woodland in June 2015, with gunshot wounds to the head from a .22 caliber pistol.

This recent admission follows Sultani’s acknowledgment of four other killings committed between 2013 and 2016. The media had previously been restricted from reporting on many court hearings, but this restriction has now been lifted.

During the court hearing, the judge condemned Sultani’s actions as a ‘mindless killing spree,’ handing down three consecutive life sentences without parole for the murders of Michael Davey, Mehmet Yilmaz, and mafioso figure Pasquale Barbaro. An additional 20 years were added for the murder of low-level drug dealer Nikola Srbin, along with 28 years for various charges, including selling and possessing guns, drug supply, and directing his criminal network.

Despite his grim criminal record, Sultani, described as ‘clearly intelligent,’ pursued a Master of Business at Macquarie University. A forensic psychologist revealed that his involvement with gangs began during his first prison stint for armed robbery as a teenager.

Sultani’s double life came to an end in November 2016 after months of police surveillance led to the dismantling of his criminal network.

“A lot could be said about this young man and his transmogrification from a shy, quiet, intelligent middle child of a conservative, hardworking family to a notorious killer and gangster,” remarked Justice Peter Hammill. “It is a sad waste of life.”

Sultani is set to be sentenced at a later date.
