Chrissy Teigen returns to ‘Deal or No Deal’ nearly two decades after her briefcase model days—this time with power
Chrissy Teigen is making a full-circle comeback to Deal or No Deal, but this time, she’s in control.
The model and television personality, who first appeared on the hit reality game show as a briefcase model in the 2000s, is now stepping into the role of the banker for the season 2 finale of Deal or No Deal Island.
Returning With Confidence
Speaking about her return, Teigen expressed her excitement and disbelief.
“It was an honour to be asked to come back,” she told People.
Reflecting on her early days on the show, Teigen admitted she was once overwhelmed and nervous in the high-pressure environment.

However, this time around, things are different.
“To come back so many years later in this fashion is just unreal,” she added, noting how much her career has evolved since her brief stint on the show.
A Long-Awaited Redemption
Teigen humorously recalled how her time as a briefcase model didn’t last long.
“It felt like a fever dream to me when we were shooting it. Sometimes I try to find clips and they’re hard to find, and I tell people and they’re like, ‘We don’t remember you.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, I got demoted real fast.’”
Despite the short-lived experience, Teigen cherished the time spent with her fellow models, and now, she’s back in a role that gives her real power over the game’s contestants.
The highly anticipated Deal or No Deal Island finale airs on Tuesday, March 25, giving fans a chance to see Teigen in action—this time, on the other side of the deal.
