Chrissy Teigen’s latest family photos spark controversy as critics question privacy and bathwater colour.

Chrissy Teigen has once again found herself at the centre of a heated online debate after sharing intimate family photos, including a bathtub snap featuring her three youngest children. The post, which appeared on Instagram on 8 February, quickly drew mixed reactions, with some celebrating the Good Burger 2 star’s relatable parenting moment and others slamming it as inappropriate.

The 39-year-old model and TV personality uploaded a carousel of images showcasing candid moments with her four children—Wren Alexander (18 months), Esti Maxine (2), Miles Theodore (6), and Luna Simone (8). The pictures included the kids dancing in the back of the family car and a painting created by Luna. However, it was the first image, where Teigen appears undressed in a bathtub with her youngest three, that ignited a social media firestorm.

As soon as the post went live, reactions flooded in. Supporters praised the wholesome family moment, with one fan commenting, “Type 1 Mamas unite,” while another cheered, “Go Luna! Go Miles!” using heart emojis.

But not everyone saw it the same way. Detractors labelled the post “weird” and raised concerns about privacy, arguing that young children should not be featured in such personal settings online. Others fixated on an unusual detail—questioning the bathwater’s murky appearance. One sceptic asked, “Why is she always in dirty bathwater?” while another bluntly wrote, “Why do people post stuff like this on social media???”

Some even took the criticism a step further with cryptic remarks. “Who are those PEOPLE and what have you done with the kids?!?” one user wrote, fuelling bizarre speculation.

Despite the backlash, Teigen, known for her outspoken personality, has not addressed the controversy. This isn’t the first time she has sparked fierce online discussions, and it likely won’t be the last. As the debate rages on, the post remains a striking example of how social media can turn even the most personal moments into public battlegrounds.
