Aston Martin has introduced the Valiant, a limited-edition, track-focused evolution of the exclusive Valour, developed at the request of Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso. This road-legal marvel, powered by a 734bhp 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine, is set to make its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed next month.
Only 38 units of the Valiant will be produced by Aston Martin’s Q division, following the lineage of the limited-run Valour from 2023, itself based on a bespoke body structure derived from the V12 Vantage. The Valiant, driven by Alonso’s desire for a “more extreme, race car-inspired version” of the Valour, features increased power, enhanced downforce, and significant weight reduction.
The V12 engine, delivering 555 lb-ft of torque, now boasts an additional 29bhp, transmitted through a six-speed manual gearbox.
