Annie Kilner receives a fine and penalty points after admitting to a driving offence in Cheshire

Annie Kilner, wife of England footballer Kyle Walker, has been fined £198 after admitting to using her phone while driving a £70,000 Mercedes. The 32-year-old mother-of-four was not present at Chester Magistrates’ Court, where her lawyer entered a guilty plea on her behalf.

Kilner was caught by police on July 8 last year, with officers stating that she was “not in proper control of the car.” The incident occurred just two days before Walker flew to Germany for the Euros and only months after she gave birth to the couple’s fourth child.

Already holding six penalty points for previous driving offences—three for speeding and three for a traffic signal violation—Kilner now faces serious consequences if she commits another offence. Under UK totting-up rules, accumulating 12 points can result in a driving ban.

During the hearing, the chair of the bench, Jean Banford, issued a stern warning:

“She will have to drive very carefully from now on.”

Kilner was also ordered to pay £400 in prosecution costs and a £79 victim surcharge, bringing the total penalty to £677. She has 28 days to settle the fine.

Initially, she was also charged with using a mobile phone while driving, but that charge was withdrawn.

Kilner and Walker, who married in 2022 after more than a decade together, have faced intense public scrutiny due to the footballer’s past infidelity scandals. In January 2024, it was revealed that Walker had fathered a second child with influencer Lauryn Goodman, reigniting controversy in their marriage.

Despite the drama, sources close to the couple insist that Kilner is standing by Walker for love, not financial reasons.

“Any suggestion that Annie is staying with Kyle for financial benefit is absolute nonsense and pure speculation,” a source told the Mirror.

The couple continues to navigate their relationship privately, focusing on their children while working through past challenges. Kilner, however, has reportedly set strict rules for Walker moving forward.

“Annie has decided she’s going to give it another go, but he needs to realise he has to be incredibly careful because even the most innocent things can come back to bite him,” an insider revealed to OK!.

With this latest driving conviction now behind her, all eyes will be on Kilner to see if she heeds the court’s warning and avoids any further legal trouble.
